A woman indicted with harassing Kate McCann allegedly recorded her a phone message which questioned: "imagine I am Madeleine?"

The defendant, 24, who witnesses stated has repeatedly claimed she was the disappeared Madeleine McCann, and her co-defendant are facing charges indicted with pursuing Kate and Gerry McCann between June 2022 and February this year.

On Monday, the tribunal learned communication data and data obtained from phones logged Ms Wandelt consistently asking Madeleine's mother for a DNA test during 2023 and 2024.

The jury was advised that via electronic messages, SMS messages and communications, Ms Wandelt asked for a biological test, sent early photographs to her phone in a attempt to demonstrate a similarity to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and claimed to have "flashbacks" from a youth with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, a data specialist with the police force who collated the data, advised the court there "didn't appear to be any replies" from Mrs McCann.
