The club will host the Bilbao team in the Spanish league 30 months since relocating for construction to commence. “Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.” Attendance will be limited though over 45,000 attendees will be allowed to watch based on approved permits. After final construction, the stadium’s capacity will reach over 104,000 attendees, a rise from the old capacity. The club said completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team along with upgraded changing facilities. Recent Activities Barcelona held a public practice inside the stadium earlier this month. The club said they are seeking authorization from Uefa for their upcoming Champions League fixture versus the German side in December in the renovated venue. They have been hosting matches at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
